An Inaugural Post!

I've taken the plunge and claimed my very own bit of the blogosphere! *insert flag in blogoturf* To be honest, I'm torn about whether I want to put myself quite so far out there in the world, but I'm so obsessed with reading other blogs, that I decided to try and hang out with the cool kids. We'll see how this goes.

I suspect that this will become a way for folks to keep tabs on me, as I'm obscenely bad at keeping in touch with people. My mother raised me better than that, but I apparently needed to have it beaten in to me.
